"Lisa Mafia (born 16 June 1979, South London) is an English singer-songwriter, model, musician and presenter, who originally came to the public's attention as the main female member of So Solid Crew. Whilst in So Solid, the singer notched up 5 top 20 hits, including a platinum selling single "21 Seconds" and a platinum selling album They Don't Know. As a solo artist, she has released two top 10 singles and an award winning album including the platinum selling single "All Over".
Television
Maffia has appeared/performed on a number of different television shows including Top Of The Pops, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, CD:UK, Popworld and appeared in series three of The Games. She also won 2008'sseries of Celeb air.
Modelling
Having modelled for Vogue, Elle and a range of women's and men's magazine's, . Maffia is also not a stranger to magazine polls. She ranked #91 (2002) in FHM 's 100 Sexiest Women, She ranked #77 (2002) in Loaded 's Hot 100 Babes. In September 2007, Maffia was voted number 33 in the top 50 sexiest brunettes poll in Nuts magazine. On the 30th July 2010 One Off Couture presented her with a "one off"outfit.We did not know if she would like it.We were gobsmacked when she came out wearing it and also took another 3 dresses
Su-Elise Nash was born in Dulwich, London on 22 May, and shot to fame in the group Mis-Teeq. She was studying for a business degree at Middlesex University, with the intention of setting up a dance school where she met the other band members
SUCCESS
Mis-Teeq formed in 1999, and released their smash singles ‘Why?’ in 2000, reaching number 8 in the charts and ‘All I Want’ the following year, which smashed their last record charting at number 2. This huge success was followed by their albums ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides’ in 2001 and ‘Eye Candy’ in 2003. Mis-Teeq also saw instant international success with their third single ‘One Night Stand’, which reached number 5 in the UK chart but also entered the top 20 in Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Denmark. Mis-Teeq gained huge notoriety and won several awards including (MOBO’s Capital FM, UK Garage Awards, Maxim Woman of the Year Awards among others). She also performed at the Brit Awards and The Queen’s Jubilee Concert.Su-Elise is ver good friends with Lisa Mafia And also fellow band member Alesha Dixon.She has appeared on the television on numreous occasions.On the 30th July 2010 she confirmed that she liked one off couture.We are proud of that fact.
